On June 20th 2015 was held a game in Verdille, the city where Adrien lived until he was 3 years old. This game took place as part of the inauguration of new facilities of Verdille club.

During the day, several games took place. At 3.30 pm the festivities started with a match between UAS Verdille and a local selection. Then, at 5pm, UA Cognac played against ARC Pacô, the portuguese club that Manuel Silva, Adrien’s father, presides. It was in this club that Adrien started playing when he arrived Portugal, before going to the youth academy of Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Adrien was present throughout the day and watched the games in the company of his family and his fans. His grandparents, who have always lived in the region, were also present.

It was also organized a raffle of a ball and a shirt signed by Adrien.

This festive and sportive day, organised by Verdille, allowed Adrien the return to a city that he knows well and also give his local fans a pleasant journey. He willingly responded to all the requests for autographs, pictures and selfies of admirers. The presence of his boyhood club from Portugal proves its commitment to the origins, whether they are French or Portuguese.

On the 6th and the 7th of june was held the 7th edition of the International Tournament ARC Pacô Adrien Silva at the Municipal Stadium of Coutada.

The event is promoted by the Recreational and Cultural Association of Pacô and has the participation of 52 teams of young players compete during 2 days. 2 days of partying, sports and emotions.

Adrien is present in the tournament next to the youngsters, helping and advising them. This is also a way for him to return to his origins, being closer to the ARC Pacô club and the friends that welcomed him when he arrived in Portugal.

The tournament exists since 2008, at the end of the football season and has the purpose of ending the season with a sports festival at the city where Adrien played as a child.

He is always at the tournament, often with friends that also play football, and is the one who delivers the trophy to the winners.

After the games there are music concerts, DJ performances and shows of folklore.

“Hello everybody! Once again ARC Pacô will hold a tournament at the end of the season. I hope you all have fun and contribute to the fair play between teams. Enjoy this experience to grow as players but, above all, as men."

Adrien Silva sponsors the association «As Voltas da Cultura», which is part of the schools group of Valdevez, in the north of Portugal since 2009. This association main goal is, essentially, to help students discover other languages and cultures, and, with that, give them a worldwide citizenship and teach them how to be active and participatory citizens, conscious of the complexity the world has, leading them to visit regions and european cities.

Adrien Silva actively participates in various events : talking with students about his experience of life as a person and professional football and offering autographed jerseys to the auction and fundraising.

On february the 27th his association held a fund raising dinner at the school of Távora.

Just like previous years, the evening was lively, successful and about 200 people attended, including Manuel Silva, Adrien’s father. The dinner, that everybody appreciated, had several cheerful moments, among others, the work developped by students with PowerPoint presenting the hitherto conducted study visits. During dinner Adrien auctioned his jersey, a major help for the fund raising.

This year, students will go to Brussels , Bruges and Gant in Belgium. In previous years, students have had the privilege to travel to Barcelona, ​​London, Rome, Amesterdam , Prague and Berlin.

In 2001, when he arrived in Portugal, the teacher Fernanda, who is part of the association to help him learn portuguese. This is a way for Adrien to help this teacher and allow children to visit Europe.
